English Gathering
Whether you walk in to ARPC as an interested seeker, a circulating saint, or as a temporary resident in Singapore to study or work, or if you are a new migrant swept onto Singapore shores as part of the tidal wave of globalisation, we welcome you and delight in introducing you to know, love, and serve God.
Our English Services are held on Saturdays (5 pm) and Sundays (9 am and 11:30 am).
We have laid out a “4 Steps for NewComers” as we acknowledge that it is God’s will that you are here and pray you will find here a borderless international community that lives out our unity in Christ.
Step One : NewComers Desk
Meet our friendly Welcomers at the NewComers’ Corner located at the Stage Area in the Sancturay on Level 3 after every weekend service. The Welcomers are there to answer any questions you may have about life in ARPC.
Step Two : NewComers Meal
Every 4th Saturday and Sunday of the month (6:30 pm and 1 pm respectively), meet the Welcomers at the Welcome Desk to accompany you to the Manse for a meal. Meet our friendly leaders (pastors, elders, deacons, staff). The Manse (resident pastor’s home) is located at the back of the building, adjacent to the playground on Level 1.
Step Three : JFN- Just For Newcomers
We want to help newcomers to ARPC to join a small group called Discipleship Group (DG)and be part of God’s family here. Two batches of JFNs begin their journey in ARPC every year and move on to give opportunities for DGs to form and meet in homes.
Step Four : Class ARPC
Class ARPC (also known as the Membership Class) helps newcomers become members of ARPC. The class helps one understand what membership in God’s kingdom means in ARPC and the Presbyterian Church.
